First, we need a high-definition encoder (HDMI encoder, VGA encoder, SDI encoder can be used according to different interfaces) to hard-code the video, because the current encoder is a network encoder (with an Ethernet Network interface), you can directly compress the video transmission to the Internet. Then, you need a live server that supports the RTMP protocol. This server can be set up (if you have the money) or you can directly access other network service platforms. There are already professional platforms that provide such services. All major network platforms such as LeTV Live support the RTMP protocol. The next step is to make some settings for the high-definition encoder. Xiaobian takes the HDMI encoder as an example.
1.Log into the HD encoder management background
To set up the HD encoder, we need a computer, because the HD encoder has an Ethernet interface, there will be an IP address by default (the default address is generally: 192.168.1.168), then just set the network IP of our computer To the same network segment as the high-definition encoder, connected to the Internet cable, we can enter the high-definition HDMI encoder management background by accessing the IP address.
2. Network settings
Network settings are more important, because to ensure the stability of the live broadcast, first disable DHCP, and then set the IP address of the HD encoder to the static IP address of the network segment of your internal network. As shown in the figure, this network uses the network segment 192.168.3. *.
3. Mainstream encoding settings
In this column, it is mainly to set the encoding frame rate, key frames, RTMP upload server address, RTMP upload directory name and other related content of the HDM encoder. This step is more important. For details, please refer to the following figure
4, check the effect
After the above steps are completed, we can enter the page address of the HDM encoder and the HTTP setting in the mainstream encoding settings in players such as Thunder Video and Audio to see if we can see the corresponding video content.
